Location is the one thing this hotel has going for it. The staff were responsive, but I wouldn’t recommend it to families or anyone wanting a decent, peaceful stay. The atmosphere and crowd didn’t feel family-friendly, and there were suspicious visitors around the property often, which made it uncomfortable. The buffet was one of the worst I’ve experienced: poor taste, little variety, and an unhygienic presentation. They push memberships and vouchers aggressively to attract customers, but seem to put no attention into customer satisfaction or service quality. Very disappointing experience at Celestial Manor, Lucknow.

The biggest problem was the Wi-Fi. We complained several times over our two days there, and each time they said it was being fixed, but it never worked properly. That was frustrating and affected the stay. The pool was another letdown: it was featured prominently in the booking photos, but we were told on arrival it was under maintenance. We hadn’t been told beforehand, and they offered no discount or compensation. The price also felt unreasonable. ₹250 for one cup of tea seemed excessive for a place that isn’t even a five-star hotel. The rooms looked premium and well-kept in the app photos, and the hotel seemed impressive from outside, but inside they were just average and nowhere near what was advertised. Overall, it didn’t meet the expectations the listing created, and the lack of basic amenities and transparency was disappointing.

The peaceful Gomti Nagar location was a real plus, and the rooms at Celestial Manor were roomy and kept in good condition. Everything felt clean, modern, comfortable, and safe. Staff were courteous and helpful, and service was quick. I had a great stay, and it seems like a pleasant, reasonably priced choice for families or a short visit to Lucknow.

Anjali was so attentive and pleasant, and the breakfast was great. I especially liked the parathas, which chef Harjas Pal Singh made just right. A very good meal and service, definitely worth trying.
