The team made our New Year trip to Lucknow much more comfortable. Even with a busy hotel, the staff stayed smiling, polite, and quick to help. It was freezing, and they brought a room heater as soon as we asked. On departure morning, our train was at 7:10 am, so although breakfast normally runs from 8 to 10 am, they arranged tea and breakfast for 6:30. That kind of care meant we left fed and comfortable. We arrived around 9:30 pm. Before we got there, staff had already guided our cab driver, and on arrival they welcomed us warmly. There was no fuss or wait, and our clean, comfortable room was ready within minutes. The hotel is in a handy spot, about five minutes from Charbagh or Lucknow NR Railway Station, which made travel easier with luggage and a late arrival. After we freshened up, they served a fresh, tasty dinner that felt homely. They also call around 9 am each morning about breakfast. If your room rate includes complimentary breakfast, it’s a filling unlimited buffet with healthy options and well prepared food. The staff there were cordial, and nothing tasted bland or disappointing. Both veg and non veg options are offered. The stay felt like being looked after by loved ones, with attention to the small details. We’d happily return and recommend Hotel Radical Palace for its location, food, hospitality, and the warmth of its people.

Getting to the hotel during rush hour was difficult. We came in a 16 seater Urbania and struggled along the narrow, congested approach road. The hotel was otherwise okay for its location and in-house restaurant. They seemed reluctant to provide toiletries and tea or coffee sachets, so we had to ask. In our double room there was only one toothbrush, or sometimes none. The linen and bath towels also weren’t clean to the standard I expected.

I booked three rooms for eight guests through Goibibo with breakfast included, then paid the extra amount Goibibo instructed me to pay when I added another guest. Even after showing proof of full payment, the hotel refused breakfast and said it wouldn’t honor the Goibibo rate for three people with breakfast. They demanded another ₹2100 just for breakfast, so I paid ₹9600 instead of ₹7500 despite already paying through Goibibo. Staff wouldn’t cooperate or help and blamed the app. Any difference between the app and hotel rates wasn’t my fault. I paid in good faith and expected honesty. Very disappointing handling and poor customer service.

It’s a good deal if you want to stay near LKO railways station, about 3 km away. There are nearby street food stalls and restaurants, as well as an in-house restaurant. The service was good.

I spent two days here and had a great stay that felt worth the money. The location was ideal for me, with major sights and markets around 2-5km away. Hotel staff were polite and helpful.
