The food was sometimes only okay, with some guests liking particular dishes or breakfast while others felt the menus lacked distinctive flavour and variety for local tastes. That fell short of the premium feel, though the dining settings, presentation, and service were commendable. The location in Gomti Nagar works for both work and leisure, with historic sights, shopping, cultural spots, and business centres a short drive away. The Renaissance Lucknow Hotel by Marriott rises above the busy heart of Gomti Nagar, with a skyline presence and sweeping views over the historic Nawabi city. Rooms and suites have contemporary interiors, natural light, plush furnishings, and thoughtful amenities; tall windows look toward the Gomti River, parks, and the city. Dining includes a 14th-floor venue with wide city views and the rooftop Sky Bar. The hotel offers spacious, elegant rooms, warm hospitality, and a lively urban setting, though the food could be more memorable.

The rooms were a good size and had lovely views, and breakfast offered plenty of local choices. Staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. It turned out to be a very pleasant stay and great value for money, a choice I didn’t regret.

We stayed from 28 Feb to 02 March 2026, but were given a room in a very cramped corner. Even after we asked several times, the manager wouldn’t provide the room we wanted. The hotel’s service was otherwise absolutely poor, and there were cockroaches in the washroom. Better to avoid taking a chance here.

The room was good, but at 16k the ambience didn’t feel worth the money. We had booked for 2+1 occupancy and paid all charges, yet at checkout they tried to add 3 k for one person. Once I showed the booking details, they admitted it was their mistake. My overall experience wasn’t good, though I’d still recommend this property.
