SPOT ON 62933 Jaiswal Guest House

I stayed at this guest house for one day, and the staff were drunk and asking me for money. At 700 rupees a night, they should at least provide the basics. There was no electricity, no water in the washroom, and no working toilet flush.

I only booked here because my plans were last minute and nowhere else was available. The place is shamefully expensive, and the reception staff were ridiculous. They even ask for chai-paani despite the poor service and high charges. If they could sell your luggage for money, they would. My eight-hour stay still cost the full day's rent, even after I told the staff. They don't explain this beforehand, then argue later to get all your money. The sheets were torn, the bathrooms dirty and stinking, the blankets dusty, and breakfast was poor. All they seem to care about is taking your money. I wouldn't recommend staying here, and I wish I could give zero stars. 😭😭

The owner's behavior was awful, and there's no proper cleaning. Cockroaches were all over the bed, doors, and sofa. This place is so bad I'd rather sleep on the sidewalk. Don't choose it.

Avoid Jaiswal Oyo no. 62933 and report it to OYO if you can. The owner is a fraud, behaves rudely, and doesn't accept OYO bookings without demanding extra money. After I'd booked, he quoted add-on charges of 800 for an AC room and 500/- for a non-AC room. I cancelled right away and got a refund after speaking with him and realizing why there were so many bad reviews. I could've taught him a bitter lesson, but thank God I found out in time. That's my genuine advice: choose somewhere better.
