Treebo Shankuntalam, Near Lucknow Airport

Room 207, offered the next day after we asked, was much better in every respect. They should provide the best rooms instead of making guests inspect and choose. We’d booked Treebo in Lucknow because we’d had good facilities at treebo kgf villa Prayagraj and Treebo Ramayan a suites Ayodhya before, and I tried contacting Treebo through WhatsApp support, but their response didn’t seem keen to help. My wife, 13-year-old daughter, and I had booked Treebo for two. At Treebo Shakuntalam, we were first shown Room 103 and two other rooms, all with inadequate AC cooling. After all the moving and checking, we accepted 103 at around 1800, hoping the AC would improve. It ran at 17 degrees until morning but cooled no better than a fan. The washed towel had stains inside and was replaced; the quilt cover also had many stains on the inside and was replaced. The small fridge had no cooling, so food couldn’t be kept in it. The kettle was stained inside and near the spout, its power point didn’t work, and we had to move it elsewhere. The main door lock was faulty: even when locked with the key, the door opened easily by hand, so there was no security. It seemed the housekeeping and kitchen staff were saying guests should accept whatever was offered, and management may not be monitoring them. I’m sharing this to help keep the Treebo brand intact and help fellow travellers get the facilities promised. On the positive side, Room 207 was much better.
