Hotel Lamellz

The washroom was cramped, and the room had no real cooling even though the A/C was switched on. They gave us tap water instead of mineral water. It felt like a two-star hotel stay to me.

I was happy with the front office welcome, and the employees were friendly and attentive. The hotel felt safe, and the service was excellent. I stayed an extra day during a business trip after booking online. If I get the chance, I’ll stay at Hotel Lamellz again. Thanks, and keep it up.

The suite the staff called “super deluxe” was tiny and smelled awful. The sheets were dirty, the blanket had holes, and there was no geyser in the bathroom. There was no telephone in the room, and when we called their mobile, they took their time coming up. The lift wasn’t working, and electricity was only on some of the time. There’s no parking area either. They tell you to park in front, but with a highway next to the hotel, that didn’t feel safe. The staff were incredibly rude and ill-mannered, and the price was far too high. There are plenty of nice certified hotels near the railway station for much less. I wouldn’t give this place a star.

We stopped at 1 pm for juice and a little food. There were four of us and no other customers in the restaurant. We ordered two lassis and four lime sodas, then waited over 30 minutes. After we asked twice when the drinks would be ready, the manager said they hadn’t made the sodas because we’d also ordered lassis and they assumed we didn’t want them. We asked again, but the order they brought was wrong. Half the starters weren’t available, so we had to stop somewhere else on our journey to eat. The service was awful, with no customer care at all. The owner should fire the manager if they want the business to do well.
