Oyo 27614 Hotel Oscar Inn

A leak from somewhere made the room uncomfortable, and a strong, unpleasant bathroom smell spread through the whole room. I was disappointed with my recent stay and hope management fixes these problems for future guests.

The room was good and clean, but the prices are a bit high.

The owner said the hotel is under new management, and there's been a big change. The rooms look much better than before, and the place is cleaner and hygienic now. The price was good, the food at the restaurant was excellent, and the staff were very good. I came from England to India to visit the new owner, who helped me very well. I definitely recommend coming to visit this hotel!

The staff were usually smiling, but they couldn't make up for the poor facilities. My room was cold and gloomy, the bed felt like stone, the sheets were stained, and the towels were ragged. There was no heater or hot water, and guests were complaining about it. Power kept cutting out, and at night and early morning I could hear bikes and cars parked just outside my wall. At least there was no lift to worry about. The bill became a problem too. When I booked, I confirmed a rate of 1000 for the night with breakfast included. At checkout, I was told breakfast was free only up to 50/-, and I had to pay another 100. The manager also said GST would cost an extra 240 if I wanted a GST bill. He asked me three or four times whether he should inflate or increase the bill. There was no politeness, and the attitude felt like, pay what we say or else. He said, “Do what you want, our hotel is full,” and said it didn't matter if my company stopped sending customers because they had enough bookings. He also cursed and insulted Oyo. I don't think the manager has any ethics. Oyo should ban this property, and GST officials should check for violations. Someone should teach these people what “Atithi devo bhava” means.
