Taj Sawai, Ranthambore

Service is what really made this stay stand out. Every staff member we met seemed happy to help, often anticipating what we needed, and they were especially accommodating and wonderful with our children. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. If the room is ready, they take you straight there and finish check-in in your room, so there’s no wait at reception. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with nothing negative to say. We enjoyed both the buffet and à la carte meals, and the food was excellent. Afternoon tea, with different teas, coffees, and snacks served around the property, was a lovely relaxing touch. The heated pool was fantastic in cooler weather. There’s a small kids’ playroom that could use an upgrade, plus a pool table, foosball, and outdoor sports options that we enjoyed. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it for a memorable, welcoming experience.

There’s plenty for kids to do through the day at Taj Sawai Hotel, including bangle making, clay pot making, block painting, magic shows, and palm reading. The hotel is very close to the Ranthambore national park entry. You can book a safari through the hotel, and I’d recommend booking at least 3 months ahead. Instant booking may be available, subject to availability. We had a very enjoyable time at this Taj property, with warm staff and wonderful service. Mr. Gaganpreet handled our arrival and check-in smoothly, was very helpful, and was always ready to assist.

The staff were cheerful, warm, and always greeting us. Sonu at the dining hall deserves a special mention. At every meal he went out of his way to make us comfortable, and told us to treat the place like a home away from home and ask for anything we needed. He was there first thing in the morning and still around well into dinner time. I asked if he ever takes a break. He’s an asset to the establishment. Taj Savai at Ranthambore enchanted me. The resort is lush and green, and the rooms are fabulous, with plunge pools and open-to-sky bathtubs. I made video calls to lots of family and friends to show them around. From the warm, fragrant welcome onward, we didn’t wait a minute at check-in. They’d contacted me a couple of days before to collect our personal IDs and had planned and discussed the rest in advance. I called the hotel directly two months ago, and they were amazingly helpful with the booking formalities. They also managed a last-minute safari booking, which I know isn’t easy here, and packed tea, coffee, and snacks for us. I’ll definitely come back to relax when I can. Thank you for pampering us!

The resort is beautiful and peaceful, a lovely place to unwind amid nature. The hospitality stayed warm and attentive throughout, and the food was flavourful, thoughtfully chosen, and consistently high quality. The activities were a memorable part of our stay. Bangle making, pottery, and block printing were all well organized and gave us a meaningful way to experience local art and culture. The high tea was also arranged beautifully and made for a relaxing evening. The spa was deeply rejuvenating. Reshna, the spa therapist, was especially skilled and caring, and made the treatment outstanding. Her work showed experience and real dedication. Taj Sawai offers a serene, luxurious retreat with wonderful service and enriching activities. Its sense of calm stayed with me long after the visit.
