The road down to the property is steep, so getting there can be a little difficult, but the stay was worth it. We were there for 3 days-2 nights and had a clean, quite spacious room with a balcony view. The staff were professional, very friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to help. I highly recommend it.

At 2.5Kms from Madikeri KSRTC bus stand, it's close to the city but surrounded by lush greenery and scenic views throughout the resort. The infinity pool is huge and excellent for swimming, and the rooms and campfire setup were good too. The in-house restaurant serves tasty, good-quality food. Their Rasam was especially awesome. It felt equivalent to any 4star resort in coorg. Highly recommended if you want a peaceful stay near the city while exploring the sights.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was decent and satisfying. I also appreciated having no hidden charges at checkout. Even in summer the property felt cool and refreshing, and staying in one of the unique houses was a great experience. There are tree houses, wooden houses, and standard rooms to choose from. The clean pool was a standout, with a unique view and water that felt safe for children. Forest Valley Resort made for a wonderful summer retreat in nature. I highly recommend it to families and friends looking for a peaceful Coorg experience.

Lunch and dinner need to be ordered ahead, since they're made fresh and feel home cooked. Breakfast was brilliant, better than any restaurants, with a different variety each of the 3 days and no repetition. The bonfire with music was perfect too. We stayed in the tree house at forest valley-coorg, surrounded by tall trees and greenery. The views from both the tree house and pool were breathtaking, and there's also a private mini waterfall on the property. The pool was cleaned every day. It's a great spot for vloggers, photographers, and nature lovers. Mr.Ganesh and Mr.Sandeep were excellent hosts and made sure we were comfortable, like at home. Our stay was amazing, a 5 star experience, and I'd recommend it for friends and families. Call before booking: they can connect you with travel companies if you have trouble getting there from Mysore.
