Hotel Al Wesal International

The rooms were in awful shape, and all four we booked felt the same. They were damp and mouldy, smelled bad, and seemed not to have been opened or cleaned in months. The sheets and blankets were stinky and oily, and clearly hadn't been washed. I couldn't stay comfortably. There was no service, maintenance, or cleanliness worth paying for. The place felt completely unprofessional, as if some locals were running it without proper management. No uniforms, no courtesy, and none of the basic amenities: no bottled water, dental kit, toilet paper, or hygiene. Breakfast was at another hotel, where we got only one plate each and had to pay extra for anything else. One of my worst stays. I don't recommend it at all, and it wasn't worth the money.

We booked four rooms in total, two for two nights and two for one night. The rooms were very dirty and damp, with filthy bedspreads and blankets. There was no maintenance, and I would never recommend this place for families or bachelors. The property looked nothing like its photos and felt very shady. Definitely don't waste your money and spoil your trip here. There wasn't a buffet breakfast. They told us to get one plate of idly or dosa at a hotel, although it said Udupi hotel and breakfast was actually served somewhere else. I skipped it on the second day and went to the Udupi hotel. The management at coffee tree stays was very good, and the rooms are fully renovated and functional, with ample parking. I had a better experience and good service. It's a top class hotel in the heart of Coorg, with AC and non AC rooms that have balconies. Thanks for the service. I highly recommend these hotel rooms in Coorg.

We booked four rooms on the third floor. They were all very dirty, the blankets were filthy, and the bedsheets smelled awful. Spiders were crawling around in every room. The corridor was empty, and nobody was at the third floor reception. At night, three dim lights in that reception kept blinking, and no other lights would turn on. The paintings looked creepy in the dark. One member of our group said they could hear a fan running continuously in room 209, beside our room 208, even though all the rooms were empty. After 7 pm, nobody was at reception, not on the third floor or even the second.
