Evenings at The Nest, Bettathur, Coorg were lovely, with a cozy bonfire, good conversation, and a calm feel that helped us unwind. We also had a lot of fun at the pool. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. It took around 7 hours to get there from Bangalore, but the scenic drive and peaceful setting made it worthwhile. Breakfast at the resort was fresh, flavorful, and so good we wanted more. After eating out once, we realized the resort food was much better in taste and quality. A great place to relax, enjoy nature, and spend time with friends or family. We had a wonderful visit, thanks again.

Getting up to the resort is the one drawback: it's away from town and the roads are quite rough. But the place is worth the drive, and the food served there is top notch. I visited recently with friends and had a great time.
The pool was spotless, and room service was excellent. The staff were pleasant, the food arrangements were good, and the location made for a great overall stay.
The food was especially worth having, delicious, clean, and not too oily. Sunil and his helper Koushik treated us very well. Our room was super clean, though we had minor issues with the geyser. We stayed two days with friends in a beautiful, peaceful place, and the food, location, hospitality, and stay were all worth the money. One thing to watch for is the route at night. The signs are there but hard to see, and we got stuck in the center, especially near the temple arch. It'd be easier if a light were placed over the sign.
Sunil and Kaushik were very nice and helped in every way they could, including suggesting places to see in and around coorg. The food was tasty, portions were sufficient, and it felt homemade, with lots of vegetarian choices. There is a large dining hall with indoor games, and Wifi is available 24hours. The resort is in a very isolated spot, about 10-12kms inside from the main road, among coffee plantations and trees. The greenery is lovely, but the rooms weren't very well maintained. The road is steep, narrow, and risky, with jungle and a valley on one side and rock on the other. If you're a new driver, be careful, and it's better to avoid driving after sunset: there are no roadside lights, and fog can cut visibility. We were a bit scared at first, and google maps went off track at points, but we kept going and reached the resort. I'd avoid coming during monsoon season. It rained heavily day and night, and the room smelled damp and moist. There were insects inside the room and under the bed, perhaps because of the damp weather. The rooms are a little distance from the dining room, so bring an umbrella and torch for the walk at night. We had a good two-day stay. Check the weather before you go and download offline maps too. I'm attaching some videos and photos for reference.
