The actual rooms were nothing like the photos on the website, which looked much better. We moved through 3-4 rooms hoping to find a good one, but they were all the same: dirty, unhygienic, and poorly arranged, with no clean washrooms or cub-boards. For this cheap room, the amount charged was far too high. I’ve posted pictures for reference. Worst experience.
We booked 3 rooms. The rooms were good, but one had a broken glass pane. When I reported it later, I was told I should have checked thoroughly before occupying it. There was no water in the room and no staff available to attend to customers. A very bad experience.
Coorg Ambika residency gave me a comfortable stay, with friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and good amenities. The location was convenient for transport and good value. The staff were professional and efficient, making the stay pleasant. Thank you.
The room and service were good, and hot water was available in the mornings. The doors were a little hard to shut.
We were charged ₹3500 for one night in this filthy, poorly maintained place, and it felt unhygienic. There were no basics in the room, not even toiletries or a towel. The strong, unpleasant alcoholic smell throughout made us uncomfortable from the start. It’s family-managed, and no one was around whenever we needed something, so there was no room service. I only booked because of an emergency, but I’d strongly warn others to avoid it at all costs.
