The property was breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery and immediately peaceful. I also appreciated the resort's sincere commitment to sustainability, which showed in its design and daily operations. The whole visit felt indulgent and rejuvenating, a lovely break from routine. We visited The Tamara Coorg just before New Year, and it exceeded our expectations. The team was thoughtful, attentive, and warm from the start, making us feel at home. The New Year's Eve celebrations were beautifully put together, with plenty of activities to make the evening memorable. Special mention to Dinesh and his restaurant team for excellent service and care with the details. Highly recommended for refined luxury and heartfelt hospitality.

The villas, views, food, and quiet all felt carefully thought through. The staff were thoughtful and intuitive, handling small requests before we even realized we needed anything. Their professionalism and genuine smiles make the place feel special. The Tamara Coorg sets a very high bar for hospitality. From the moment you enter, you feel like royalty, not just a guest. After staying here, other luxury properties can feel ordinary. Even Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa doesn't compare for warmth, hospitality, and overall vibe. For a honeymoon, celebration, or peaceful escape, don't think twice. It's more than a resort, it's an emotion.

The buffet was enormous and varied, and we couldn't decide which dishes to try. It was so good that even “excellent” doesn't quite describe it. We came home with memories as sweet as honey and as exciting as coffee. Coorg was suggested to us for our minimoon, and after looking online for a nice resort, we found Tamara at the top of the recommendations. Once we arrived, we understood why. The property was mesmerizing, with varied flora, neatly spaced aesthetic buildings, and pleasant weather. The staff were polite and efficient, especially Preethy, Riya, Akhil, Neeraj, Sourav, Uma, and Sudheesh. They followed up about our safety and comfort when we arrived, during the stay, and when we left. Thank you, Tamara!

Spacious rooms with spectacular views, and a wonderful stay overall. The resort sits in the lush green forest of Bramhagiri hills, thoughtfully planned to blend into nature. We woke to birdsong and went to sleep looking at the stars. Hospitality was excellent from booking through checkout. Activities were tailored to the resort and offered special experiences. The naturalists, yoga trainer, and spa therapists were well trained, knowledgeable, and friendly. Food was high quality and tasty, from unique Coorgi-flavoured pork to familiar Indian and international dishes.
