Goroomgo Jaya Residency Madurai

Everyone at Madurai railway station told us this was an old hotel and not safe for families. It’s a third-class hotel and homestay, probably run by some locals. They take advance payments and are completely fraudulent, only interested in taking people’s money. Please don’t book this homestay.

For ladies, this feels like a very insecure place to stay. The room was so dirty and unhygienic it made me feel like vomiting, and the owner was rude and racist. The housekeeper also took a bribe from us to show the room, which was pathetic. We argued for a refund, but they refused, and they didn’t provide a good room either. My worst experience. Please stay away, even the bus stop is cleaner.

We paid 1200 in advance to book through jaya for 24 hr, but after we complained, the owner was cunning and didn’t even send anyone from housekeeping. There was no cleaning or housekeeping at all. My family and I had to move to another hotel within 4 hr. I’d give this 0 if Google allowed it. Seriously, a pathetic experience today at 10th Aug. Don’t book hear, stay away.

It wasn’t a room, it was a poultry farm. I recently visited and found it very poor and unhygienic, not suitable for men staying. The bathroom was in bad condition, and the room was full of dust. The beds and bedsheets weren’t properly clean. The actual room was hugely different from the photos on make my trip. A very bad, just worst experience. Don’t waste your money. The rating is below 0.
