I stayed here recently during an unplanned visit to Madurai and found the room cozy and clean. The staff were courteous, and both the owner and staff seemed very honest and helpful. After we checked out, we realized we'd left our phone in the room. A little while later, the owner called me himself to let me know. Without that call, I would've gone back to my hometown without it. I'll remember that kindness. I'm grateful to the owner and staff for their honesty and integrity. It left me with a very positive feeling about Tamil Nadu.

We ate really well here. It's a pure vegetarian hotel with lots of delicious choices, and the meals were satisfying without costing much. Service was very good too, and everything seemed well taken care of.

Bedbugs were everywhere, and I couldn't sleep for even a minute. The washroom wasn't clean or in good condition either. There's no parking, the location isn't good, and the service was really bad. I'm very disappointed. It's a hotel in name only, and I don't recommend it 😡🤬

The location is good, but the hotel is old and only partly renovated. Some rooms don't have hot water. Even for someone coming in the morning just to freshen up for an hour, they charge 300 plus tax for each extra person. The service needs to improve.
