Hotel Boopathi

We stayed one day, and the staff were friendly and cooperative. Check-in and checkout times were flexible. The rooms are ordinary rather than luxurious, but the AC worked properly, and the beds and bathrooms were neat. For visiting Meenakshi Amma Temple, the location is excellent, just a short walk away. Autos are easy to find, with a bus stop and railway station also very near. There’s vegetarian food on the second floor, where a Rajasthan team makes roti and rice thali. It tasted very good and was affordable. I’d suggest giving it a try. Thanks to the Bhoopathi hotel team.

My intended dates were 06/05/2026 to 07/05/2026, but I accidentally booked 05/05/2026 to 06/05/2026. Once I noticed the mistake, I contacted both Agoda and the hotel by phone and email. I wasn’t clearly told that help would no longer be possible after a certain time, and nobody explained the exact steps for changing the dates. Instead, I was verbally told to come to the property and sort it out there. After travelling a long way, I expected basic cooperation or guidance. Even though I’d been in touch beforehand, I was denied access to a room and given no meaningful help. I understand booking policies exist, but clearer communication and customer support could have prevented this. I hope future guests who make genuine booking mistakes get more understanding and guidance.

The location is very convenient, and the bed is comfortable. The AC also feels good. But my room had no windows, and somehow mosquitoes still got in and kept me awake all night. I don’t get it. The sheets looked dirty when I arrived, and the blanket clearly hadn’t been washed. It had disgusting stains.

We stayed there with family over the Christmas public holiday. The room was small and cramped, but I chose the hotel because it was within walking distance of meenakshi temple. Everything else was just okay.
