Parking was a problem because there's no dedicated space, so vehicles have to be left exposed by the roadside. We also had to go down to the first floor for drinking water, and the beds weren't very comfortable. The rooms at KS Mahal weren't up to par, with poor cleanliness and bad smells from the bathrooms. I hope they address these issues, especially by arranging proper parking for guests.

They had made a small parking arrangement, which was helpful. The mahal is tucked into a narrow street, though, so people coming from outside Madurai may have trouble finding it. We used it for a baby shower, and it worked well for around 100-150 people. Food was served downstairs. The water tap leaked and made a mess.

Getting there is awkward because the road access is poor, and the hall itself is very small. There’s no parking at the venue. You’d have to leave your car on the main road about 200 meters away, so don’t bring it expecting to park nearby.

Even though all the rooms were empty, he still wouldn’t give me one. He first quoted more than the online price. Don’t go there, you can find a cheaper room right near the temple.
