We first came in just to have a quick lunch, then had a look at the rooms. Our Booking.com reservation had gone wrong, and we ended up feeling lucky the earlier booking was cancelled. It was our first time staying at a homestay, so we were unsure at first, but I’m very glad we stayed. The food, hygiene, homely feel, and staff all get 5/5 from me. I have nothing to complain about and would love to visit again.
The staff were short-tempered, and the place didn’t feel professional enough for the prices. Our vegetarian thali cost 350Rs, but although bhakri was charged for, they said it would take too long and asked us to have wheat chapati instead. The atmosphere and standards also didn’t match the thali rates. Please be careful if you’re visiting with family. They seem focused only on earning money while providing pathetic service. Even one star feels too generous.
The hotel isn’t luxurious, but it felt warm and comfortable. The garden was beautifully kept, full of colorful flowers, and the nearby spots were lovely. The food was delicious, everything was clean, and both the owner and staff were pleasant, polite, and helpful.
We felt at home here, thanks to the owners apoorv and neelam and their very homely team. The food was 10/10, but the hospitality was even better, 20/10. There are good amenities, and the location near mahableshwar mandir puts most tourist spots close by. Definitely worth a visit, even just to eat.
