Jumbo Serene

We went with family friends in May 2025. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and the rooms felt luxurious. Food service was delayed while we were there, though. The hotel is a little off the road, but otherwise it’s a good option for a stay with family or friends.

The hill road up to Jumbo serene was in poor condition and quite difficult to travel, and there was often nobody at reception when we needed someone. Still, we had a very nice two-day stay, with a valley view and a luxurious feel. We booked two classic rooms, which didn't have the valley view, but they were clean and had nice facilities.

The location is good, but this isn't worth the money as it is now. We booked the pent house and found mold all over the walls, along with unclean bedsheets. If they damp-proofed the walls and repainted, it could be a five-star property.

The pent house is close to the heart of Panchgani, and the staff were professional and quick to respond. We had a wonderful stay, with a fabulous valley view from three balconies. The interiors were well kept and had all the basics. The food was just above average, but worth compromising on. The approach road could be better. We also noticed a lot of damp on the walls, so they need paint repairs, as it could be risky for visitors. I'd recommend the place to others.
