Nivanta Hotel Panchgani

Poor service and disappointing cleanliness were part of a very unsatisfactory stay. The layout is a maze of confusing staircases, which felt unsafe for kids and elderly guests, and there’s no proper, secure parking for vehicles. The whole hotel is extremely poorly maintained. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff were excellent and helpful, easily worth 4+ stars, but the room quality spoiled the stay. It was spacious, though badly maintained and missing basic amenities. The washroom had a foul, unbearable smell that pointed to serious cleanliness or maintenance problems. Breakfast choices were very limited.

Privacy felt like a major concern because the balconies connect, leaving guests feeling unsafe and disturbed. The common areas and lift setup are cramped and uncomfortable, and hygiene wasn’t properly maintained. Nivanta Hotel, Panchgani is just a single building with poor planning. Hospitality and upkeep need serious improvement.

The room they switched us to was the one in my bed photo. We’d arrived with our 8 month old, and the first room they gave us was full of Cigrette smoke, even though they’d seen us with the child. When we asked about the elevator, they said we could book another hotel if we wanted. The rooms were dirty and the staff seemed untrained. We had to leave, and now we’re fighting the booking vendor for a refund.
