Prashant Cottage

We loved the terrace parking, which gave the cottage a bit of a Shimla tour feel. Prashant Cottage was a great stay during strawberry season, from 26th February to 28th. It's very close to Venna Lake and the other points. Families with babies or children aged 0-6 may especially appreciate the authentic home-cooked food available within 15 minutes. They initially insisted on an extra mattress charge while booking, but later provided it for free. Food prices are reasonable, though the portions should be quite a bit bigger. The staff were cooperative, and the owner was so polite and humble. The hotel is near VENNA LAKE, with neat, clean rooms and very tasty food that feels like home. It's affordable, safe, and a place I'd recommend visiting and staying at. Must visit Prashant cottage.

The family made sure we felt safe and comfortable, and we'll definitely recommend this place. Our room was clean, the hosts were lovely, and the food was made to order, just like home, with good portions. They even let me use their kitchen to prepare my baby's food. One night we got stuck somewhere far from the hotel, especially far to walk back, and called them hesitantly. Within minutes, they arranged a pickup through their relatives. They did that out of humanity, and we really appreciated it 🙏🏻.

Prashant Cottage worked well for us as a family using the hotel mainly to rest after sightseeing or going to the market. We stayed from 24th to 25th Dec. The basic room on the first floor was neat and clean, including the toilet, and had a balcony. There were three of us, and they provided an extra mattress without any hassle. We didn't try the food at the in-house restaurant, so I can't comment on it. Airtel reception is very poor in the area, but the cottage provided Wi-Fi. I'd definitely recommend it for a family stay.
