The Dhanhills - a valley view hotel in panchgani

I usually don’t leave reviews, but the service was so disappointing that I felt I had to share this. The front desk staff seemed annoyed by basic questions and weren’t welcoming from the moment I arrived. Check-in took over 30 minutes, without an apology or explanation. Room service was almost non-existent too. I called multiple times for basic things like towels and drinking water, but nobody came. When I finally went to reception myself, they acted like I was inconveniencing them.

The staff were friendly, but the property was absolutely pathetic, with broken amenities throughout. The owner seems uninterested in getting anything repaired. The room smelled, the bathroom stank, the bathroom doors were jammed, and the balcony doors were broken. The photos are very old and don’t show what the place looks like now. I’d never recommend anyone stay in this horrible place.

My parents were very happy with the service, cleanliness, food, hygiene, management, and ambience, and we had a nice experience overall. The main issue is that the hotel is quite far from the main Panchgani bazaar, about 20 minutes away. We’d suggest arranging a pick and drop cab or van from the station to make travel and the stay more convenient. We’d love to come back.

I could watch the sun rise from the balcony, which was a very blissful experience. We stayed one night at Dhanhills on 13 october in a premium balcony room. It was comfortable and clean, and the staff were cooperative and polite. The breakfast was good and tasty, and the whole resort had a pleasant ambience with an awesome view of the hills and lake. Thanks to the Dhanhills team for a wonderful stay.
