Shanti Villa Mahabaleshwar

The buffet breakfast was tasty and had a good variety each day, and room service was prompt and excellent. Our room and washroom were neat and clean, and the property was well maintained. We also really appreciated being allowed to check in early. Had a great stay, highly recommended!

The room was decent and comfortable, and the property is in a good location, but several maintenance and service problems affected our stay. We booked a Deluxe Room at Byke Select Santi Villa through Agoda for around ₹6,500 + taxes per night. There were mosquitoes in the room, the washroom flush was very slow, and one tap was loose and looked damaged. We waited two days for shampoo and shower gel, and towels arrived only after an hour and a second reminder. For a place advertised as 4-star, the experience didn’t meet that standard. We reported the maintenance problems several times, but got help only after the third follow-up. Better maintenance, housekeeping, and faster responses to guest requests would make a real difference.

The food had great variety and tasted absolutely delicious. Priyanka and Devashish (Restaurant Manager) from the F&B team were especially hospitable, and Mr. Abdul (FOM) and Mr. Bhagwan Ji (Duty Manager) were professional and supportive throughout our stay. Every staff member was polite, attentive, and ready to help. At Shanti Villa, Mahabaleshwar, our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The team made the stay superb, comfortable, and memorable. I’d recommend the resort, and would happily come back. Thank you to the whole team!🙏🥰

We had to check out the next day because there was almost no hospitality, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The rooms we were supposed to get were given to someone else, even after we showed chats saying we’d booked rooms on the pool side. We argued over payment, then got rooms and service like this. They were stinking, the washrooms were even worse, the fan was disgusting to look at, and tiny insects crawled on the beds. The intercoms didn’t work. The food was tasteless, the paneer was hard, and there was no salt. We called staff more than twice and still waited an unbelievable amount of time for them to reach our room. There was no cooperation, respect, or hospitality. The staff were conveniently arrogant with us. Nothing went right, and we felt scammed. This is just not acceptable.
