The staff I dealt with were polite and had good manners, and the food was great. My first room had no Wi-Fi coverage, so they moved me. On closer inspection I noticed filthy walls, and the phone didn’t work, though I could manage without it. On the second night, music outside was so loud I couldn’t hear myself speak on the phone. I went to reception and asked the man either to move me to another room or turn the volume down, but he offered no solution. He actually made me feel as if I were staying there for free. On my last morning, I woke up to a significant number of maggots on the floor. I reported it at reception. They said there was no cleaning staff in and that they’d send someone when they arrived. It took 20-30 minutes. The property is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but it isn’t maintained.

We went on 25th Jan 2026, and the only good parts were the ambience and the water. The food was poor, and service was worse. We waited 30 minutes just for someone to take our order, then another 45 minutes before they told us it had been cancelled because they didn't have boneless chicken. We were with family, and the kids had ordered Chicken Hakka noodles. Since we were already late for lunch, the staff's lack of coordination left us with nothing to eat. We had to leave the hotel with our children still hungry. The manager apologized, but that didn't undo the trouble or feed the kids. Very disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend this place.

The restaurant's look was the one good thing, but the quality felt compromised. Our room had a broken bathroom handle and lock, and management wouldn't move us or fix it. They just told us to adjust. The manager showed very little hospitality.

The cottages look nice, but the location isn't good. The rooms are outdated and below standard, and management is poor. I wouldn't recommend booking a room online here, especially for a family.
