SaffronStays Verandah by the Valley

The food is what I'll remember most, so comforting and just like something my mum would cook. Simple, warm, and the sort of meal you don't know you've missed until it's in front of you. Santosh and Madhuri were kind in a relaxed, genuine way, and made me feel at home without making a show of it. The property is well kept, and the location is properly quiet. I could hear myself think, read a few pages, or drift off without planning to. That peaceful feeling is rare. I think I'll keep coming back.

We had a poor stay, and it felt extremely overpriced and not worth the cost. The road through the village is a narrow, barely existent kutcha track, made harder to get through when villagers have parked their bikes along it. We expected quiet, but there was a lot of noise from a village wedding party during our stay. The caretaker and Saffron stays didn't seem empathetic toward customers. You can avoid this place.

The fresh strawberries and visit to the farm made our stay feel refreshing and memorable. SaffronStays Verandah in Panchgani is a beautiful, peaceful property surrounded by nature, and the caretakers were kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful time there!

We spent two nights here and would love to return. There's a little garden with fragrant flowers and a direct valley view, and from the villa you can watch both sunrise and sunset, which not many properties can offer. The caretaker couple looked after everything we needed and cooked delicious Maharashtrian food. It's a lovely property, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
