Sai Yashwant Hotel has a prime location and the staff were polite, but that was about all I liked. The rooms were neglected and badly maintained, and room service was terribly slow and inefficient. The food had no flavor and wasn’t worth a single ₹. It was my worst stay, and I wouldn’t recommend the place.

We ordered Masala Dosa, Onion Uttappa, and Tea for breakfast. The Onion Uttappa was fresh and fine, but the Masala Dosa came with spoiled potato bhaji inside. That’s concerning because unsafe food can affect people’s health. We told the staff, and they took only the Masala Dosa off the bill. This isn’t mainly about the money, it’s about food quality and safety, and the negligence was unacceptable. Prices are already higher than usual, so we expected better quality and hygiene. The meal didn’t live up to that. Management should improve its food checks and hygiene standards. Customers’ health shouldn’t be put at risk.

I’ve been coming here for 10+ years and plan to keep coming back. Uncle Umesh the manager is always warm and helpful, and Owner Yash is humble and grounded. You can tell they care. The rooms are clean and spacious with a good balcony, and the market is within walking distance. The in-house restaurant serves simple, good food. For the price, it’s the best budget hotel in Mahabaleshwar, with good management.

We had a really satisfying breakfast at Hotel Saiesh. The dosa was huge and tasted great, and my friend enjoyed the onion uttapam too. On the first day of our three days in Mahabaleshwar, we’d struggled to find dosa nearby. Most places along that route were serving only poha, upma, misal pav, tea, and coffee in the morning, so finding dosa the next day was a relief. One thing to keep in mind: if you don’t like spicy food, ask them to go easy on the chilies. My friend doesn’t eat them and had to spend a while picking them out. Otherwise, it’s a nice breakfast option if you’re looking for dosa or South Indian food in Mahabaleshwar, and I’d suggest giving it a try.

Digvijay & Umesh ji helped us with the Mahabaleshwar Darshan tour and arranged a car at an affordable price. We had a comfortable, hassle-free 2-day stay at Hotel Sai Yash, with clean rooms and excellent restaurant service. Everything was well managed, and our visit was truly memorable.
