Whistling Valley

Every room has a great view over the valley and strawberry farms, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Meals can be served as needed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The drive in needs care because the road is narrow. If you're lucky, you might spot peacocks with binoculars. Airtel and Vodafone had good signal at the property, though I can't say about other providers.

The valley view from the rooms is the main appeal here. The hotel sits right by the valley, and there's an attached balcony, though ours wasn't clean enough to spend much time on. The rooms are spacious but only average, and parts of the property are still under construction. It's an isolated location, about 5 kms from the main Road, with no shops nearby. The road to the Hotel is very narrow and in poor condition, so getting there without your own car is difficult. Staff were polite, but not experienced or efficient. I hope the place improves in other areas because the location itself is beautiful.

We had a good time with friends, and the outskirts location was peaceful with breathtaking views. Hospitality and service could be better. The kitchen wasn't operating during our stay, which meant delays and mix-ups with the food.

The valley view is nice, but the service was horrible. I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids. It was very cold, there was no hot water, and the electricity kept going on and off. There's a kitchen, but no gas was provided until we insisted. Food needed to be arranged earlier because after 10 pm it gets difficult to find anything. The caretaker helped with cleaning when we asked. It's also a bit far from Mahabaleshwar.
