Blue Bay Beach Resort

The best part was being close to the beach, with private beach access. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was kept hygienic, though the layout felt a little awkward. The pool was decent and enjoyable, but the chlorine seemed too strong. For what we paid, it didn't feel like good value. Wi-Fi was unavailable and the TV didn't work; even after repeated requests, it took almost 24 hours to fix it, by the second day. The room landline also didn't work properly, making it hard to reach room service or reception. Housekeeping took several follow-ups to clean the room, and room service was often very slow. Breakfast was below average, with very few options and nothing impressive to eat.

We held our school reunion at the resort today, and everything was comfortable and neatly organised. Mr Sharath supported us throughout the day, and Mr Kathikeyan from the head office was very helpful coordinating with us. The food was surprisingly tasty compared with other resorts of this kind. I'd recommend it for a personal visit or an official party.

The decor by karthik was dreamy and well done, and the beach venue is appealing. For a function of 100-150 guests, the setup brings rooms, a pool, lawn and beach venue together. It's budget-friendly, with food from ₹800 per meal that can be customized, and there is a play area too. But the event was chaotic because rooms were delayed, and our plans got spoiled by the confusion. Rooms should be properly checked before being handed over. Some were unfinished, ACs didn't work, check-in was late and keys were missing. There was no spare key, so forced entry was needed, and the ₹3000 duplicate key charge felt unreasonable. Washroom flush problems weren't resolved. Drinking water was a major problem: supply was limited, there was none near dining, service was slow, and no reception or clear contact point to solve issues. Dining was poor too, with no water near the food, a distant dispenser, uncleared tables, bad staff attitude and cold food. Basic counter service was expensive, breakfast was very poor, and they added unnecessary charges for minor issues. Service and room quality need improvement. The beach space and decor are affordable and attractive, but the overall resort, service and room experience disappointed us.

We had my uncle's daughter's engagement here and booked the whole resort, with more than 100 people invited. The rooms were very clean, and service was excellent. Room service was available 24/7 whenever we called. This beautiful resort made the day special, and I'd recommend a visit.
