Ivy Villa

The villa has a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious room with carved wooden furniture, and a helpful, responsive, professional caretaker. Getting to Five Rathas, Mahabalipuram lighthouse, or nearby restaurants took about 10-15 minutes by ride. We loved unwinding here. The Bali style, private pool, lush landscaping, Koi pond, and outdoor bathroom made it feel like we'd been transported somewhere else. We'll definitely come back.

We came from CDMX to Chennai as a couple, and this was just right for relaxing and enjoying our stay. The staff were very attentive and could help with whatever we needed at any time. There are plants and greenery everywhere, and the place has a Bali feel. The pool is pleasant, the mood is calm and romantic, and watching sunrise here was really special. I definitely recommend it.

The interiors have a lot of charm, though at this premium price they could use a bit of a refresh. Still, we had what we needed for a comfortable stay, and the cats wandering around are a treat if you love cats. Ivy Villa is a cozy, rustic place that feels peaceful and full of nature. It's well maintained, and Prem, the caretaker, is friendly and takes care of everything, making you feel at home. A lovely place to unwind.

We asked the caretaker to pick up ingredients, then cooked together as a family and played the board games at the resort. It made for a lovely family reunion. The Balinese style in Chennai was a real pleasure, and the beach behind the resort felt very private. We even had a nice picnic there. A peaceful, relaxing getaway from the city noise, and a great choice for a staycation. Do try it.
