It's right in front of the lake, in a quiet setting, but the property is 3.5 KM from the bus stand and Tapola market, with no local transport or cabs. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, just other resorts. The hotel can arrange pickup and drop off. The owner was very nice and actively looked after various things, including the food. He kindly provided a complimentary drop off at checkout. The food was good, freshly prepared, and they accommodated customizations. Rooms and bathroom were clean, though hot water was very limited. The hotel arranged a speedboat that comes directly to the hotel for 2900/-. Kayaking is also available for 200/- per person.

The rooms were clean, there was hot water, and we had plenty of privacy. Mahableshwar Agro Village Resort in Tapola (Mahabaleshwar) is surrounded by nature, and the staff made our stay really comfortable. The owner and everyone working there were kind and helpful. If you love nature and want to sit listening to its sounds, this is a place to visit. It left us with a beautiful, memorable stay. 1 Jan 2026.

Kayaking, dinner, and breakfast were part of the package, and they provided wood for a campfire. The host and staff were helpful and kept smiling. The spot is right beside the lake. You can bring your own booze 🤪

I paid ₹4,500 for three people and came away feeling the money was completely wasted. The food was so bad that after seeing it, we skipped lunch. Breakfast offered just poha, and it was hard and smelled oily. It was a very disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend booking the package.
