Hotel Raj Palace

The fort, Narmada ghar, and temples are all within walking distance, and the hotel offers parking too. I stayed one night and liked the location and the view. The staff were very welcoming and sweet. Prices felt pocket friendly compared with hotels in Ujjain and omkareshwar.

We spent two days at Raj Palace Hotel, Maheshwar, and found it calm and welcoming. It’s conveniently close to the fort and ghats for exploring Maheshwar. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. A reasonable place for a peaceful, comfortable stay.

The balcony is the real gem, with a lovely view. The hotel sits inside the fort area, right above Narmada ghat, arguably the best location in Maheshwar. The rooms were good, though not the best, and the owner and staff were caring and very helpful. 4/5 stars.

You can walk to all the places from here, and it’s almost attached to Shree Raj rajeshwar temple. The view of Narmada maiya is very scenic. The owner was warm and welcoming, and Bablu bhaiya, suraj and ravi bhaiya were all soft spoken. They had an open kitchen for kids’ needs. We had aarti abhishek darshan on. Hot water was sometimes unavailable, though, and there’s no lift if an elderly person is with you.
