OYO 23082 Sg Sai Residency

The vada tasted just like homemade and was really good. The rest of the food was good too, though the coffee could’ve been better. Overall, I had a good experience.

The food was awful, and the service was a complete mess. There was nobody taking orders or serving, and when waiters noticed customers, they ran off and hid. A horrendous experience. I’ll never come back.

We had breakfast here, and everyone in our family enjoyed it. The food was superb, all vegetarian, tasted like mom’s cooking, and was very low-priced compared with other hotels. It’s easy to spot on the highway, with plenty of parking inside and outside. The separate ladies’ and gents’ washrooms were very neat and clean. We didn’t stay here, so I can’t say anything about the rooms. We came back around 7:00 pm, but the hotel was closed, so we missed dinner.

The stop was easy to fit into my trip along the Chennai Pondy ECR road, since SG Sai Residency hotel is right on the route. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made me feel welcome and looked after. Breakfast was the highlight: the Pongal had a comforting mix of flavors and just the right consistency, and the vada was so soft and tasty that I wanted more. The chili chutney and sambar were delicious and went well with the dishes. I really enjoyed the meal and would recommend stopping here for breakfast if you’re traveling that road.
