OYO Flagship 20021 Mambakkam

The check-in took more than half an hour, and room service was awful. They didn’t provide any facilities, and breakfast came too late and tasted completely bland. Dinner prices were too high, while the food was worse than a dhaba. The worst hotel experience I’ve had. Don’t book it, there are several better options.

In the middle of the night, in a strange city, we had to find somewhere else to stay. I’d booked and paid for two rooms at OYO flagship 20021 siruseri, but when we arrived for check-in they said no rooms were available and told us to cancel and look elsewhere. They claimed that even if we paid rs 5000/- per night, they would give rooms, despite rooms being vacant. They said online bookings wouldn’t be entertained, even though ours were confirmed and paid. A very bad and strange experience. Nobody should rely on OYO hotel online bookings anymore.

The room was good, but it was missing basic things like bath towels, hangers, soap, and shampoo, which made things a bit harder. The location isn’t great either, and it’ll take at least a 45-minute drive to get to the "Elliott's Beach" area. The hotel was okay overall.

I found bed bugs in the room, and there was no drinking water, so I had to buy it outside. The phone didn’t work either. The bathroom-bedroom glass partition was broken, and some rooms had no partition at all, leaving the bathroom fully open. Staff were terrible to deal with. There’s no restaurant, despite it being advertised. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
