Hotel Chivala Beach

The room faced the road, and evening sun kept it hot at night. It was also dusty and dirty. When I asked to move, they refused with strange reasons, including that the empty rooms lacked backup facilities. I later found the room they’d given me didn’t have backup either. I felt they were keeping the better rooms for frequent or affluent customers. The photos show a picturesque room view, but the room we got seemed the worst of those available. At check-in, the receptionist confused us by asking us to see a second-floor room, while giving the first-floor room I’d booked to someone else. The hotel’s ratings seem fraudulent to me. I booked through cleartrip, which I also consider a fraud, since it doesn’t let customers rate after checkout. The experience at Chivala Beach Hotel was awful.

The cooking charges are steep. The other things, like room cleanliness and maintenance, were great.

Spacious rooms and a spot very close to the beach make this a comfortable place to stay. I found it good value for money.

It’s in a great location near chiwla beach. The staff are kind and helpful, and the service was excellent. Mr. Deepak was especially helpful.
