Collection O 10372 Hotel Whistling Winds

The service was very poor. We climbed all the way up and waited outside for 15 minutes, but no staff were there. The room also didn’t look like the photo provided, so we had to cancel the booking after arriving.

The room was dirty, and the bedsheet had stains and hairs on it. To reach the hotel’s ground floor, we had to climb almost four floors of dangerous, uneven stairs with no safety railing. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms and beds were clean, and the rooms themselves were very good, with all wooden finishes. The food was good too, though they said they didn’t have a menu yet and still needed to make one. It’s close to Mall Road and the market, but far enough from the crowd. The hotel is high on the hills, so getting there is difficult for older people and women. The stairs are also dirty, with garbage on and around them. The first two floors seem to be for guests, while local people appear to live above. I wouldn’t call the location great. I stayed for two days. Before booking, I visited and was shown their best room, but at check-in they gave me a smaller room with a garbage view from the window, saying no other rooms were available. After I spoke to OYO, they changed the room, and I had a great stay.

One helpful thing is that they have accommodation for your driver if you’re traveling with one. I had a good experience overall, but there were some drawbacks: the room was a little expensive at 2500 per day, the location wasn’t convenient, and the food quality didn’t meet expectations.
