The receptionist was humble, professional, and empathetic. The people here actually cared and made us comfortable, unlike the money hoarders you find elsewhere. It’s a decent hotel in Bharka on Naggar Road, with several room options, including a duplex family room. The peaceful setting was the best part, and the food was okay. Wet firewood meant we couldn’t have a bonfire, and the power was limited because of snowfall, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. One suggestion: lower the off-season prices and I’m sure the hotel would be fully booked much of the time. Please keep the same humble service. Thank you.

The host was gracious and went out of their way to accommodate our requests and make us comfortable. The staff were very hospitable, and we enjoyed the food. Since the property is out in the countryside, it’s peaceful, with breathtaking views and away from the rush and mess. Excellent location, host, hospitality, and food. We’ll definitely return.

My wife and I had a great stay at Bharhka Countryside Cottage Resorts, Manali this New Year. The property was lovely, and the owner and staff were even sweeter. They took good care of us the whole time, and the food was delicious. The party on 31st dec was so good and made staying here worthwhile. I can’t put into words how grateful I am to the staff and owner for the lovely memories. We’re already looking forward to another stay. Must stay and experience your best time here!!! 😊😊😊😊

The resort has enough parking and a swimming pool, with a small market nearby. Wifi is available for anyone who wants to spend 1-2 weeks away from the city but still needs to work. The host lives nearby, so there shouldn’t be safety issues. Set 14 km before Manali on the Kullu-Manali highway, it sits between Kullu and Manali and suits families, adventure seekers, couples, people looking for solitude, and those who need a place to work. It’s quieter here when Manali gets overwhelming in peak season. There are picturesque villages with traditional wooden Kath-kuni houses nearby. Manali, Old Manali, Solang Valley, and Atal tunnel are close, as are Nagar castle, Jana waterfalls, Gaurishankar temple, Hamta trek, Soel waterfall, Manali town, and Vasistha hotwater spring.

The wooden cottage was such a lovely place to stay that we extended our visit. Staff were very hostile, though, and helped us throughout. It’s in a peaceful spot away from the tourist hustle, with views of apple orchids and beautiful mountains. We loved it.
