Di Villa

Getting around was a problem during my two-night stay at Di Villa. It's about 6 to 7 km from Mall Road, out at the last hilltop, and no taxi or rickshaw would come there when we tried to reach the hotel on our own. On the occasions when someone did come, the fare was 700 to 800 rupees. The room and service were just as disappointing. The bedsheet hadn't been changed, there was no cleaning staff to be found, and I had to buy soap, towels, and other basic toiletries from a nearby market. The bathroom had no ventilation fan, and the geyser wasn't working properly, so we had to get hot water from the staff's washroom. There were holes in the room stuffed with cotton, which showed little attention to detail. The food was even worse than the room and service. With the terrible staff, poor rooms, and missing basics, I strongly advise against booking. It was so bad I'd rate it -5 stars if I could.

The location was perfect, the food was great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I had a wonderful stay at Di Villa! The staff were friendly, and the amenities were fantastic. Highly recommend!

During my New Year vacation, the stay turned out to be a really unpleasant experience. The rooms themselves were good, but the washrooms were in very poor condition. I also found staff sleeping in a guest room, and a few minutes after I arrived, new guests were put in that same room without the bedsheets or blanket being changed. The price was high, and I didn't feel it was worth the money at all.

Dinner had the same vegetables three days in a row, and breakfast was just as limited. On the first morning there was only poori, then only bread and jam on the second. They charged extra when I asked for something else, like an omelet or milk. The blankets smelled, and the rooms weren't clean at all. I wouldn't recommend staying here, even for one night.
