Sarthak Regency

The room at Sarthak Regency Manali was freezing, and even though the heater display said 30°C, it blew cold air. Outside it was around -11°C, so we couldn't sleep or comfortably use the washroom. The bedsheets were stained and smelled bad. Several basic things didn't work. The kettle was unusable because its plugs were burned and damaged, phone charging was difficult, and the bathroom geyser wouldn't heat water. We reported the heater issue to reception and waited about an hour for someone to bring a portable heater. They tried the damaged sockets first, then plugged it into a charging point by the bed. Smoke filled the room within a minute. They took the heater away, but didn't offer a proper fix. The package coordinator and hotel management said there were no other rooms in the hotel or nearby. At about 11:30 pm, in the freezing conditions, we had nowhere else to go. We stayed in our friends room, ten people in one room, with several of us sleeping on the floor. The food was average, and the staff seemed inexperienced, with poor customer service and problem-solving. I can't recommend this hotel, especially in winter when heat and safety are essential.

The location is great, and the bedroom and washroom were very hygienic. Service was good, staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay. The honeymoon decoration was amazing, we loved it. Must visit.

The meal was only okay, and getting it took forever. Staff were unresponsive and unprofessional throughout. The room phone was dead, the lift was broken, and the AC wasn't working either. Maintenance seemed nonexistent. This was easily the worst hotel stay I've had. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The location was convenient, but that's the only good thing I can say. For what it costs, I expected the basics to be handled. The room wasn't clean, upkeep had clearly been neglected, and service was slow and ineffective. With so many issues, I can't recommend this hotel.
