Golden Apple Cottage

Gagan handled our stay, meals, and local sightseeing arrangements, and his support made the trip feel easy. Everything was coordinated smoothly and on time, so we could enjoy each place without feeling rushed. We were in Manali for Rohtang Pass, Solang Valley, and nearby spots, and the fresh, homely meals and comfortable, well-kept rooms added to the experience. The hospitality felt genuine. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay with caring service.

The view from upstairs would be better. From the first floor, electric lines get in the way. I stayed at this cottage for 3 days and had a good experience overall, though the bed could be more comfortable. Food timing was often late even though they say it’s ready by 8, so we had to let them know if we needed it earlier. The food itself could be better too.

When we left early for Rohtang and missed the buffet breakfast, they let us have lunch instead without charging us, which was thoughtful. The rooms were spacious and good, and the place is away from the crowd, though set quite far in from the main road. There were problems too: bathroom plumbing leaked, the food was average, and breakfast buffet had only one item. The mattresses were bad and uncomfortable.

The mountain scenery from our room balcony was awesome. We really enjoyed watching the view and taking some good pictures.
