Hotel D'Chalet

We planned to stay two days in Manali but ended up extending it to seven, and the hotel took care of everything for the rest of the stay. Even during heavy snowfall, power cuts, and traffic jams, the people there went out of their way to keep us comfortable and safe. They also helped people stranded in the extreme snowfall, and continued to care about us after we had left. The staff are joyful, helpful, and quick to respond to whatever you need. They made the stay feel homely while still being professional. The quiet Old Manali location is within walking distance of Mall road. Rooms are spacious and clean, the restaurant food is really good, and prices are reasonable. The people are the reason we enjoyed our stay so much.

I’ve been returning to Hotel D Chalet since 2018, and by now it feels like family. Raj Bhai, the hotel manager, keeps things running smoothly and makes guests feel welcome. The restaurant team, Jatin and Vansh, deserve a mention too. The food tastes like proper homemade cooking, made with care, and every meal feels like someone is looking after you. There’s more to enjoy than the stay and food, from pool games and table tennis to bonfires with music. Those moments slow things down and make good memories. The comfort matters, but it’s the people that keep bringing me back. If you want warmth, good food, and heartfelt hospitality in Manali, this is a lovely place.

The rooms were spotless and well maintained, and we enjoyed the food at the in-house restaurant. Staff were polite and humble throughout, making us feel welcome. Our stay at Hotel D'Chalet was wonderful, and we look forward to coming back whenever we're in Manali.
