Hotel Hilltop

The room was clean and comfortable, but the geyser didn’t work. I told the staff and they never came up with a proper fix, so having to bathe in cold water in such freezing weather was awful. The food was also very poor. Vegetables served in the evening were reheated and served again the next morning, which just isn’t acceptable. Night music and dancing are prohibited because there’s a nearby gurudwara. Our stay at Hilltop Hotel, Manali was deeply disappointing.

The staff, including reception and housekeeping, behaved very badly, and the food was one star at best. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had, and the whole experience left me disappointed. Honestly, you’d be better off sleeping on Mall Road than booking this place.

I’d warn people against staying here. They took an advance, then refused to return it even though the cancellation was valid after just one day. I have proof, but the staff keep putting it off and acting as if they know nothing. Handling customers this way feels like cheating. Please don’t stay at this hotel.

The rooms were badly cleaned, our luggage was mishandled, and the service was poor. The staff and owner have no manners when speaking to guests. They even told our driver there was no toilet at the hotel. I’d advise people not to book here because of the cleaning and the way our luggage was treated.
