Hotel Kullu Manali Inn (Mountain View Hotel)

The room had soiled linen, a broken door handle, no electric kettle, and a TV with no subscriptions. There was no hot water unless the sun was shining, and the tap water was ice-cold. We had to pay for a room heater, but it still didn’t heat well. The charge was excessively high, 600rs per day and 300rs per day. We never had to pay extra for a heater at other properties, where it was offered without charge because of the climate, not the customer's circumstances. We arrived around 8:00 AM after a long, cold bus trip and hoped to check in early. Although rooms were available, reception told us to wait until the standard 11:00 AM check-in. We stayed at the desk until 10:40 AM, with our infant clearly uncomfortable after the journey. Even after we explained the situation, the staff stuck to the policy. I understand procedures, but it was disappointing that our family's needs weren't considered. This was far below the standard I expect from a hotel in this category. I hope the feedback is taken seriously, as the establishment could provide a much better stay.

We were so happy with the food. Since we're a Swaminarayan couple and can only eat food without onion or garlic, we explained our needs to the staff, and they prepared it to our customisation. They also make Swaminarayan and Jain food. The staff were gentle and helpful, responded well whenever we spoke with them, and checked in on us regularly. The hospitality was great, and I'd recommend the hotel for couples or families staying in Manali.

This felt less like a hotel and more like an example of humanity. When I was sick, the staff stayed with me at the hospital all night. The canteen staff also took care of the food for my one-year-old child, and everything tasted very good. Everyone was polite. Thanks to all the staff at Hotel Kullu Manali Inn for your support and service. If I come back, I'll definitely stay here again with my family.

The morning view of the snow-covered mountain peaks was a lovely extra. Mr. Kamlesh Thakur and his team were welcoming and very good, and the food was good too.
