We respected the displayed house rules, including the one against washing clothes, but no one had told us that personal heaters weren’t allowed. Staff could see our heater and even asked us to move its plug, yet on 7th Jan they took it away without warning. That was unacceptable in winter, and when we questioned them, they were rude and unprofessional. The online listing showed amenities that mostly weren’t provided: no room service or housekeeping, no electric kettle, and no sealed drinking water. Instead, used bottles were refilled from a dispenser, which felt unhygienic. Poor communication, a misleading listing, and bad handling of guests. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location is perfect, and the rooms are great. I stayed for about 4 days, found it convenient and totally budget-friendly, and would recommend it to everyone.

Sita Cottage’s top floor was peaceful and private, just right for unwinding. I loved having tea on the balcony and taking in the scenery. From the room, the mountain tops and valley views were breathtaking, and the fresh air was lovely. The room was cozy, clean, and well-maintained, and the staff were kind and responsive, making sure we were comfortable. It was a beautiful stay, and I’d recommend the top floor to anyone visiting the mountains, alone, with a partner, or with family.

The staff made the stay unpleasant. He was extremely rude and canceled our booking for the last day at 11:30 AM without telling us. The rooms didn’t look like the pictures, and the old property smelled strange because of a dirty carpet. The washrooms weren’t operational, and the bedsheets and pillowcases were stained and very dirty. Very poor hospitality.
