We ended up waiting for another room to be made ready, which delayed our departure for Rohtang pass. They moved us to what felt like the smallest room in the hotel, and the whole experience was very disappointing. We were also charged too much for water bottles, and the manager showed no apology despite how frustrated we were. We’d booked one night because it was our first time at the hotel. When we asked to extend, the manager said they were sold out, although the property still appeared available on booking.com and other apps. Since I was with family, I booked through an app instead of moving hotels.

Rude communication from the staff made the stay uncomfortable. They didn’t seem professional or show guests basic courtesy. Hospitality matters at a hotel, and I felt it was missing here. I hope management improves how staff behave and interact with guests.

We had a candlelight dinner with a bonfire and some music, and really enjoyed our time there. The rooms were well maintained, the washroom was clean, and the king room’s balcony had a nice view of the scenery.

The front desk left me feeling ignored instead of helped. Communication was poor, and even basic requests took longer than necessary. From the moment I arrived, the service felt unwelcoming, and the staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in assisting. Since the front desk is the first point of contact, this gave me a negative impression of the whole place. I hope management takes the feedback seriously and improves staff training, responsiveness, and their approach to customer service.

The room was damp, and the bedding was stained, including the sheets, blanket covers, and pillow covers. The room hadn’t been cleaned, and the washroom was dirty.
