Hotel Rock Regency, Manali

The one thing going for this hotel is its location on Mall road, Manali. The service and amenities were poor, and the place was unclean, with lots of room issues. Our first room had no bathroom lights. We were moved to another with a very poor view, a broken geyser, and a leaking basin drain. When we asked to go back to the original room, they said it had already been given to someone else. I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s a good place to stay with family or friends, and the prices are very moderate. The rooms are maintained and the service is good. From the hotel on Manali’s mall road, everything is just a 1-2 minute walk away.

A hotel worker approached us on mall road and invited us to see a room at a really low price. It turned out to be a big scam. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and the service was the worst. After check-in, the reception staff were extremely rude, with no customer satisfaction at all. They said service wouldn’t be available after 10pm. Everything in the room was pathetic and didn’t work properly. There was only one plug point, dirty bedsheets, no hot water, and very bad service.

Big, airy rooms at an affordable price, with good service from the staff. The hotel is in a great spot inside Mall Road, close to the bus and taxi stands.
