Molly's Cottage

The apple trees, open seating and gazebos make Molly’s Café feel almost too picturesque, and the atmosphere was soothing. It's pet-friendly too, so your dog can come along while you enjoy a beer. Molly, the owner, was humble and courteous, and made us feel like old friends. Everyone on staff was warm and helpful, and service was flawless throughout. I loved the pasta and garlic bread so much they had me doubting my own cooking. The Ginger Lemon Tea seemed like it could fix heartbreak, a hangover, or a Monday. Hukka is on offer as well. I came away wanting to plan another trip to Manali. Go for the food and atmosphere, and you may be tempted to return for Molly.

We visited in December, when temperatures were below zero, but each bed had two bed warmers and the room had a heater. The whole stay is thoughtfully designed, and we enjoyed it a lot. The cottage and its view were lovely, the food was good, and the price was very reasonable. Molly’s is in an amazing location.

We found a favorite place to sit in the wooden gazebo at this garden café, tucked among apple orchards in a quiet part of Burwa. It was so peaceful to talk, read, or just look around. The food and service were really good too. Swagata was a wonderfully warm host and made sure we were looked after, with a personal touch that made the visit special. Can't wait to go again.

The quesadillas were a big letdown. Finding a piece of Amul cheese aluminium foil inside was unacceptable, even though the staff apologized. They need to pay serious attention to this so it doesn't happen again. We were only two people in the café, and staff said service might be slow because everything is prepared fresh. The cozy ambience was nice, and the lemon honey tea was soothing and well made. The pasta was okayish, but that issue ruined my visit. We came to Molly's Cafe, Manali in early November hoping for a nice experience, and unfortunately didn't get one.
