New Rock Cottage

The cottage sits close to local attractions while still feeling tucked into nature, so it was a convenient and peaceful place to stay. Inside, the rooms were spotless and spacious, with a warm rustic feel. Staff were helpful and polite throughout. I'd definitely like to come back.

The owner's behavior ruined the stay for us. She was dismissive and hostile from the time we arrived, and even basic questions or requests seemed to make her rude and unhelpful. When we asked for a simple request, she argued and raised her voice instead of addressing the problem. It felt aggressive and completely unprofessional. The room itself was below average, but the lack of courtesy, respect, and customer service was the bigger issue. We left early and checked into another place, which was the best decision of our trip. This was the worst hotel experience I've had. Avoid it. I'd rather sleep in my car than deal with that treatment.

The setting is peaceful and scenic, a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Our rooms were cozy and well maintained, with lovely decor and modern amenities. The hosts were friendly and attentive, and the service helped make the stay comfortable. Recommended for a serene break.

I came to rock cottage with my family planning to stay just one night, but ended up spending 7nights because I liked it so much. The river side cafe was a highlight, and manager Deepak was really nice. The food, views, and staff were good too. I'm planning another visit and will book rock cottage again.
