The cheap rate came with a lot of hassle. There was no water in the morning, and dinner wasn't enough to fill even a small appetite. Staff said they couldn't help when complaints were raised. The ground floor seemed to attract drunk drivers, and I didn't feel it was safe for couples or families. Think carefully before booking Yogesh Cottage Manali. I also wonder whether the many positive reviews are genuine, or from fake accounts or the owner's friends.

We were on a conducted tour and had paid everything in advance, so we couldn't switch hotels during the three nights. The location felt awful, boxed in by buildings, and the food was far worse than at other hotels. For our group of six, they served six chapatis, four plates, and just one bowl of rice and paneer. This happened each night. The toilet was broken, the bills were wrong, and staff were rude, arguing and behaving badly in every conversation. Please don't stay here.

Rooms were really good, and we ate well too. Such a nice place to stay, with very warm staff. 🥰
