OYO 23522 Hotel River View

We’d booked a day ahead and paid in advance, after letting them know we were arriving following a 16-hour journey for just one night. Instead, we were given two used rooms and towels, although the bedding was new. When I asked the receptionist for help, he said nothing could be done then and told us not to annoy them too much. I asked for the manager’s number, but he said the manager wasn’t there and couldn’t take a call, and he wouldn’t give me the number. We hadn’t had time to read the reviews before booking, so please skip this place. I uploaded the photo because of the audacity of the hotel’s social media PR. I doubt they have any management at all. All we saw was a group of impulsive teenage boys who weren’t polite.

The bathroom was one star. The TV, lamps, and fan didn’t work, the room was dusty, the window glass was dirty, and the balcony was poor and unclean.

We were two families, seven people including kids, staying from 11-Jan to 13-Jan after booking through Booking.Com. The receptionists and attendants were rude and careless, and there was a power outage with no backup. There wasn’t even a kettle for a quick tea or coffee. The in-house restaurant charged a bomb for tasteless food. It was a nightmare of a stay and an absolute disappointment. I’d never recommend it to anyone.

We got a budget price, so I was satisfied, even though the property looked old and the photos were too fancy. The rooms could be maintained better. The location was what I loved: very close to Mall road, but away from the crowds.
