OYO 7138 Acharya Cottage

Inside there's a garden, and the property is neat and clean. The location is decent, and the staff are well trained and polite. Highly recommended if you want some peace and a mountain-connected stay.

The staff were rude and the service was very bad. The food was tasteless too. Please don't visit this cottage. The second hotel, La kailasha, also had very bad service.

We came from Dubai to see Manali, two adults and two kids, and booked through a friend who owns a travel agency in Delhi. The room was OK and WiFi was OK, but the rest was a horrible experience. The location felt completely dead after 8 o'clock, with nowhere to eat, bad roads, and a two-hour trip to mall road in traffic. There was no housekeeping or room service. The person cleaning the room was also the cook. We were charged for a room heater in -6 temperatures. The food was a disaster, and for all six days the kids were unhappy or complained of stomach pain. There was no other food option that suited them, so we were stuck eating there. It was so cold that food froze unless you ate it within 10 minutes. The kitchen had no gas or microwave, so what's the point of having one? The view was so bad, like a horror movie. Book on mall road for your safety and your kids. Our first time taught us a lesson. Hope we find somewhere better next time.
